Toni Preckwinkle, Susana Mendoza, Amara Enyia, Lori Lightfoot, and Paul Vallas are confirmed to attend this debate focused on how disinvestment and destabilization have been used to push hundreds of thousands of African-Americans out of Chicago and to squeeze working-class Latinx and white communities tighter.
This is the central issue of the 2019 elections. Will Chicago be a city for the wealthy few, where politicians and donors collude to help the rich get richer? Or are we a city for the many, where Black and immigrant and working-class families can thrive?
Space is limited and registration is required. RSVP here.
